  1. Once upon a time a woman made a promise to go to Mass every eveny day for a year. She went wet and dry for the year and every day she went she used to put a peble into a bosc When the twelve months were up she looked at the bosc but there was only one peble in the bosc because while she was at Mass she used to be going on and laughing. She only got the benefit of one Mass.
