  1. Boxty
    To make boxty people got a piece of tin & put several holes in it with a nail Then they got potatoes & peeled them. Then they scraped them with the tin scraper (above) Then mixed with flour & salt, and made them into form of a cake and put it on the pan to bake
    "Bulls Milk" or or soans was used long ago by men (as a drink) when out mowing. They mixed oatmeal & water & left it stand for a few hours. Then they poured off the water & used it as a drink
    "A Cast" of Potatoes
    This was prepared by burying potatoes in the "gríosach" and leaving them
