    Steep the flax for 6 days. They dry it & make it into sheys. Beetle it and scutch it with a scutching handle & block Sit down & clove it Then put it through a hackle

    Candle Making:
    Before paraffin oil was in use people used to pull a bunch of rushes and dip them in tallow

    The wool was first oiled with sweet-oil. Then it was teased by the hand Then it was carded, with card
