    If the swallow flies low it is a sign of storm.
    If the cricket sings near the hearth it is a sign of cold weather.
    If the "ciarógs" come into the house it is a sign of bad weather.
    If there is a bright ring around the moon it is the sign of a break in the weather.
    If the clouds go over towards the South, it is a sign of good weather, and if they go down towards the north it's a sign of bad weather.
    If the birds come about the house we are likely to have snow.
    If the birds gather to the summit of a hill it's a sure sign of rain.
