  1. An Phéacach (bó bhradaigh)
    1
    If you go to Achill
Take the phéacach home with you
    in the boat
This is the wish I put on her
Never to return to this quarter.
'Twas she left me without a stitch
    of clothes
Nor a stocking on my foot
She chewed the loom as well as the
    thread that was 'round it.
    11
(Freagra) I will not let the Phéacach to Achill
    As long as I live,
For it is there all my relations are
And all that are alive belonging to me.
    There are shining blankets
And tweeds plentiful in the place,
    And let themselves keep them
When they were'nt able to colour the
    thread.
