  1. Long ago there lived in a house in Knockglass a man and a woman. The woman went out one day to milk a cow and the Fairies brought her to the forth. When she went into the forth she saw a lot of funny little men. When she looked around her she saw a boy from her own village who was taken with the fairies. The boy asked her what brought her there, and she said the fairies brought her. The boy told her whatever the would ask her to do to say she (s)had
