  1. It was said that there was a lot of gold hidden at Granuaile's castle. The officer left the care of it to a soldier that the head was cut off. They say he is minding it without a head.

  2. There were once two men who lived in Shraloggy. One night as they were coming home from visiting, they were coming by the Castle and a big dog with big teeth came out before them. The other man could not see him at all and that is why it is said to be haunted.
