  1. On the day before St. Patrick's day we gather a big bunch of shamrocks for to wear the next day.
About a week or ten days before the feast my mother sends some shamrocks to friends in America and England.
On the morning of St. Patrick's day every person wears a small bunch of shamrocks in their coats to the Church.
Some of them wear badges with the picture of St. Patrick on it.
About fifty or sixty years ago the people believed that St. Patrick's day was not spent well without everyone in the house getting some whiskey, even the baby in the cradle.
