  1. My Grand Aunt's mother who lived at Bunagee was seventy years of age when she died. One Good Friday she fasted all day. On the next year she took her "supper" at ten on Holy Thursday night and fasted all Good Friday and the next day too. On Easter Sunday she walked from Bunagee to Lagg Church a distance of about ten miles. She reached home at four o'clock. She got her dinner of tea without cream and bread without soda.
I do not know her Christian name but her surname was Monagle. This happened about a hundred years ago.
