    The landlords in our district were not severe landlords. The present landlord is Mr. Harvey of Malin Hall. The Harvey family have been there for over one hundred years. They did not evict anyone from their homes. They had set days for bringing their tenants to work for them for nothing. If they did not go on these days they would get a month's notice to leave their homes. Apart from this they were considered good landlords.
