  1. There are four standing stones in this district. They stand in the middle of fields. Some people say there are tracks of a man's hands on some of them.
    They have been there for generations no one knows how they came to be there.

  2. There are some old monuments in our locality. There is a large monument nearly as large as a tree erected in memory of an ancestor of the Harvey family. There is a round rock in Glacknabrad and there is the of a hand and foot on it. It is said to mark the remains of an old Friary. There is another rock at Malin and there was a man killed on it and there is blood on it still.
