  1. I live near Malin in the townland of Norria in the parish of Cloncha and in the barony of Inishowen.
    This townland is not very extensive. There are ten families living in it and the population is approximately thirty three people.
    Henderson is the most popular name in our townland.
    The houses are two storey slated houses with the exception of three which are thatched.
    There were more houses in our district in former years and the ruins of some of these still remain.
    Many people emigrated to America from this neighbourhood some years ago.
    The bay which touches part of the downland is mentioned in the scrapes of local verse which still remain.
    It is called Strabreaga and there is a story telling of how it came to get this name.
    We live in the Harvey demesne where there
