  1. (1) The house belonging to a family named Hearkin in Cregnacoile, in the townland of Keenagh (on the main road from Malin town to Malin head, about 4 1/2 miles from Malin town) is said to be haunted.
Carts can be heard going round and round the house every night.
The people of the house raised a "gentle" stone and they have had no luck since.

  2. The Presbyterian Manse is said to be built on "gentle" ground. The fairies can be heard spinning in it.
One day a young lady was knocking at the door. She heard footsteps on the gravel behind her. She looked round but there was no one to be seen.
