  1. There was a hunchback lived at Hillside in the parish of Desertegney. At the same time there lived a hunchback in Malin.
    One Halloween night as the hunchback of Hillside was passing the fairies home, he heard them all singing "Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday", and the hunchback shouted out "Thursday".
    The King of fairies asked who was this who completed their good song, and the fairies told him. The King took the hump off the man.
    The Malin hunchback heard about it and the next Halloween night he went to the fairies home and he heard them all singing out "Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday." He called out "Friday".
