  1. My name's Jamie Susie.
    I am daft and uneasy.
    I have almost gone crazy
    With malice and spite.
For I late had a hen
    Which a crony did send
From the head of the Glen
To this place they call Creig.
    II
She was pride of her flock.
She was true to her stock
    And with out any mock
She each day layed an egg.
As Providence sent me potatoes in plenty
I fed her on dainties of taties and bread.
And when she did lay, she never did stray
From her nest made of hay
At the foot of my bed.
