  1. One day a man was walking along the road and he met a woman on a level part of the road. She was lying on the "dyke" and then she got up and as soon as the man passed she stood. When the man was about four yards from her he looked round and she was still in the same place he looked round again and she disappeared and he heard a voice saying she was a witch.
