    as if it was threshing corn. He went home and told his people what he has heard in the barn and they said "That was a fright you got now because you threw hit the roof with a stone one night. He never stayed out later than seven o'clock any other night although "afore" he got the fright he was always out late.

  2. There is an old rock in Muff and it is called a "boas" rock. In the summer when all the wells about are dry a spring in this rock is filled; and in the winter when all the wells about are full this spring is dry. Lots of people speak to the rock when passing and it answers. This rock is still to be seen and it is still haunted.
