  1. One night a man went out to scare his brother who never came in early at night. He was going along the road, and it was very dark and he was very lonely. He stood for a while and he heard something coming "tip-tapping" up the road. He thought it was his brother so he went into an old ruin to put a sheet around him.
Now the "tip-tapping" was coming nearer and as he thought he heard it stoping so he looked out one of the windows, and he saw a big white thing looking in at him. So he ran home like a race horse. When he was at his own door step he looked round & it was a big white sheep. He never tried to scare his brother again.
