  1. There is a mass - rock that I know of in Clonmany and it is in the townland of Althalla. It is the shape of an altar. Long ago Mass used to be said there.
    There is another Mass-rock in Cinnygoe. It is the shape of an altar also. When the priest would go to say Mass there long ago the people would not know when he would come. Then the women around the place were to put out white washings when the priest would come to say Mass. That was the sign they gave to show that the priest was there to say Mass. One time a woman
