    he sent one of his servants out to see who it was and he told him it was the King's son coming to claim his daughter. So the king told him to come up into his parlour. The passage into this parlour was made of sharp needles sticking up from the ground. So the little red man sent the man with the Iron Foot before the King's son and he crushed the needles down and then the King's son was able to go through the needles and into the parlour. So that was one of the tasks finished. Then the King said that he would not get his daughter unless him and his men would have a big wood cut down before evening. So
