  1. The Ruined Fort.
    There is in Glenagivney an old fort, part of which has evidently been many years ago, dug up or ploughed. One side of this old fort is almost destroyed. This is the story the people tell us about this old fort.
    About 70 years ago, the man who owned the field, made up his mind to level the fort and plough it and make more space for his crops. The neighbours told him not to do this as fairies live in that fort and that they would send him misfortune if he interfered with their dwelling
