  1. In the townland of Terryrone near Moville there lived long ago a family. Everyone in the family, except the Granny, became ill of fever. The family had no milk to use. One morning the old Granny went out to the byre where was kept a ten-months old heifer. She thought it had a good appearance of milk, so she milked the heifer and got a tin full of milk. Every day after that, until the family got better of the fever, the heifer gave a tin-full of milk. When the family got better the heifer ceased to give milk.
