    When the sky is dark we are going to have rain. When the sheep leave the pasture and come home we are going to have a storm.

  2. I was going away to look for folklore when I met Mrs. MacLaughlin. She said "it is going to rain" I asked her how did she know. She said: "when the hills are plain it is a sign of rain." When the cat puts her paw over her ear when she is washing her face, that is a sign of rain.
