  1. Near Greencastle, stand the ruins of an old church. A short distance away, is a ruined castle. These are supposed to be connected by an underground passage. A story is told of a monk who was passing through this passage in olden times. He was carrying a golden chalice in his hand and he lost it in the passage. It is believed that is has never been found since. No one knows where the ends of this tunnel are. Some people say the tunnel is guarded by fairies. The old church stands in a field near the road and is called Kilmoyle.
