  1. This is a story about fairies. They are said to have taken away a boy from the townland of Tardrum many, many years ago. The boy was six years of age when he was taken away. He was away with the fairies for two days. Then he came home again. He never grew any bigger afterwards. He lived to be 70 years of age he always remained the same size.
