  1. There are lots of birds to be found about the place where I am living. The names of the birds are the crows, the magpie, the robin, the lark, the sparrow, the mistle thrush, the song thrush, the wagtail, the wren, the seagull, the blackbird, the chaffinch and the linnet. All these stay here all the year round. Some of the starlings stay here all the year round and some of them go away in the winter.
    The birds that come in the summer are the swallow, the martin, the corncrake and the cuckoo and the pigeon. The crow and the magpie build their nests on the top of tall trees. Their nests are made of sticks and they are lined with hairs. They lay about seven eggs in the nest. The robin makes its nest in a fence or in an old kettle.
