  1. There are a few old graveyards in this locality and I will describe as fully as I can all about this particular one.
    On the Ballyargus side of the Drung river there is an old graveyard to be found in a farm belonging to Willie Duffy. There is a rectangular shaped field containing about three acres, and it is in this field, about one hundred and fifty yards from the river, and about the same distance from the Ballyargus road or to tell its position in a few roads it lies exactly in the centre of the field.
    The graveyard itself, containing about half a rood, is an exact square, each side being about thirty yards. it is enclosed by a small ditch about three feet high. The graveyard which was used for burying children is very rocky ground. Some of these rocks are flat, level pieces, of stone about five feet long,
