    and it is said that one time when Our Lord sent an angel to paint all the birds he had every colour of paint, and he was in a hurry and he dipped the blackbird's bill into the box of paint, and that is why it has a brown bill.
    The crow is also a black bird and she feeds her-self on corn and raw potatoes.
    The swallows are little birds about the size of a robin. It is of a black and white colour. It comes here about the 'month of April, and it leaves again about the Month of September.
    The seasgulls are fair sized birds and are of a white colour, and they feed by the shore and if they are saw assembling on the land it is always the sign of rain.
    The brent or barnacle goose is a large bird and it comes to Drung shore every year, and
