    it is broken.
    When the milk is being churned for about half an hour longer it is then finished. My mother washes down the sides of the churn with water to take the milk and butter off the churn.
    Then the butter us lifted into a [?] by the aid of the churn-dash. After that it is lifted out of the churn with a butterspade and it is put into a butterdish. Then the butter is washed well to take out any of the milk that may be in it. It is then made up into half pound prints.
