There was a man called Paddy Mc Cauley who lived in Cashel, Glentogher.

There was a man called Paddy McCauley who lived in Cashel, Glentogher. He was cutting holly bushes, when a voice said to him, "Do not touch those bushes," but he still continued to cut them and the next morning when he awoke his head was bald and all the hair was lying beside him on the pillow. He attended Carndonagh market every Monday buying fowls, for years after, and his head was remarked by everyone, and he would never cut a holy bush after what happened to him.
