    At Malin town there was a poor old man to whom the fairies had given a cow told him not to part with it.

    At Malin town there was a poor old man to whom the fairies had given a cow and told him not to part with it. This cow had seven calves and he was taking her to the market to sell her as she was getting old. When the man had the rope on the cow she made off to a lough and all the calves followed her. The cow plunged into the lough and all the calves followed her. On approaching this lough one would think that the rocks have the form of cows. Because of the fairies hairing
