    Once upon a time there was a rich man who lived in a lovely big castle out in Culdaff, Co Donegal.

    went in. While he was upstairs searching for the safe, the room filled with smoke in a few minutes. As he did not know much about the place he could not make his way out. So he kept searching about and at last he made his way downstairs. In a certain room there were people trying to save money in the safe, and he, pretending to be one of the servants, took all the money, and put it into a can. He took it with him and made out, but on his way out he ran into flames of fire, so he had to go back and get out a window. It was one fo the back windows, so he was not seen. He ran as fast as he could to his home, and that night he buried the money. A few weeks passed and the man died. Before he died he said, "There is a can of gold and pound notes hiding in the field down the road beside" and before he could finish he fell back dead.
