Old Story Date 20-12-1938
One time there was a middle-aged man living in Culkeeny. One day he was out herding cow's in a field. When he was in the field he saw about one hundred little fairies carting timber in little tiny carts.
He went and told a man who was supposed to know something about fairies and he told him what he saw. The man told him that there would be a building there soon. A few week's afterwards the Culkeeny school was built.
