  1. There is a fairy graveyard up at the Hospital. A man had four ridges of cabbage seed set there and they never grew. One morning when he woke up he found that there was not a hair on his head.

  2. In the field purchased last week by Mr. Michael MacLaughlin, Bridge Street, Carndonagh from Mrs. Doherty, there is a graveyard formerly used for unbaptised infants. The graveyard is marked by holly bushes. A man who attempted to plough up the portion containing the graveyard and fort, met with serious adversities.
