When he went into the chapel the priest was preaching about God being everywhere. Paddy the Irishman jumped up on the seat and called "I hope He is not in my pocket eating my buns".
- Paddy the Irishman was going along the road and he was very hungry. He went into a house and the woman asked him what his name was and Paddy answered "Paddy take a bap". "Paddy take a bap" said she wonderingly. Paddy lifted a bap and ran away.
