    About sixty years ago Roger Doherty lived in a house in Glentogher.There was a big stone in front of the door and the man thought it better to move it somewhere else. It was a very cold day when he began to work and after having dug down a bit he got hit on the shoulder with a sharp stone. He went into the house and told his wife about it. Before he went into the house he had stuck the spade in the clay but when he came back again to the place where he was working, the handle was burned of
