    About one hundred years ago two women were living alone together in Mineydarragh.

    At last she hit her on the head with the pan and then she ran away very quickly. After the woman had the milking finished she went into the house and got ready. When she had this done she went into her neighbour's house to see if the other woman was ready. But when she went in, the woman was sitting at the fire with her head tied up. The woman then knew at once that it was her neighbour who came into the byre in the form of a black cat and she cut her on the head with the pan.
