    There was another windy day about 50 years ago and it scattered corn stacks and injured houses. The people were afraid to go outside the door
    About 150 years ago, there was a great snowstorm. There was a man named John MacMurray from Ballybig, Carndonagh. The snow was so deep that the man could not get out and no one got in, but at last their neighbours came and dug away the snow.
