    There is certain lore attached to every day of the week on which weddings take place : -.
    Monday for health,
    Tuesday for wealth,
    Wednesday the best day of all,
    Thursday for crosses,
    Friday for losses and Saturday the worst of them all.
    Lore in connection with the birth of children. : -
    Monday's child is fair of face,
    Tuesday's child is full of grace,
    Wednesday's child has far to go,
    Thursday's child is full of woe,
    Friday's child is loving and giving,
    Saturday's child has to work hard for its living
