    I live in Aught in the Parish of Muff in the Barony of Inaish Owen.
    The land is good and dry and suitable for cropping and is well drained. The hills are not far away and it is easy to get fuel. Most of the holdings contain between fifteen and twenty acres with three or acres of rough of rough ground used for grazing sheep in winter and for cutting turf in Spring
    The farm buildings consist of low thatched houses some slated ones are also to be found.
    The houses are approached by lanes leading from the main road,
    Nine families live in Aught fifty people in all. The language that is spoken is English.
    Some years ago lots of people left this district because they could get no work so they went to America and Scotlad to find work and to send money home to their people. But now they are able to get
