    What is it that water will wet it and the Sun will not dry it.
    Butter.
    What is it that is living at the two ends and dead in the middle?
    A man ploughing.
    As round as an apple, as plumb as a ball, Can climb the Church, over steeple and all.
    The Sun
    A little white and round house,
    And it is full of meat
    But has no doors or windows
    To let me in to eat.
    An egg.
    What is it that is:-
    First on two feet, then on four.
    Then on two and at the end on three feet?
    From infancy to old age
    Black it is and much admired
    Horse and foot it often tired,
