    When my Grandmother was a little girl she used to play Jackstones at school. She got small stones all the same size. These would be thrown on the ground first of all. Next one would be thrown up and immediately one would be lifted off the ground in time to catch the Jack that was coming down - Two jacks would be in the hand then - all the jacks were placed in new position now. They were thrown from palm of hand to the back of it, and then thrown by a circular motion of the
