  1. Mr Doherty (Stout) who lives in Ballymagan, is an old age pensioner.
    He is a great storyteller but he does not know any Irish. He is a good thatcher of houses, and every one in the district likes to see him coming. There is a "failte" for him in every house he visits, and on his leaving there is a warm invitation to soon return. He keeps the people of the house in roaring laughter.
