    to bury them some place near the chapel. There was a shipwreck down at Dun Ree. There was a great storm of snow and the boat hit against a rock and sunk and all the people was drowned but two people who swimmed out and were saved. This boat was coming from England to Dun Ree.

  2. Dohertys fordge is situeated on the road side. [?] fordge has black walls and it is about [?] miles from Buncrana. There is a square door and there is donkeys shoes horses and ponys shoes on the door of this fordge. There is [?] on the inside of this fordge door. This [?[ makes ploughs. This fordge has here this long [?].
    There is a fordge in our district now and the man that runs this fordges name is [?] Doherty. This mans father was a blacksmith long ago. This man uses iron goods. He uses course [?] hammers and many bellows. He has handles [?] he turns round when he is doing any work. [?] shoes horses and fixes ploughs and does many other things. He has four or five bellows. This fordge has a thatch roof and it is thatched every year.
