    Thistle
    The thistle is the most destructive of all weeds. The meat in the thistle is good for eating. It is to be found at the roadside and in the middle of a lake.
    Bogbine
    Bogbine is to be found in a bog. It is a good drink and is believed to be able to cure anything.
    Nettle
    The most common and most hated weed in the district is the nettle. It grows along the roadside and in fields and many other places. The old people say that it is a cure for consumption.
