- When the sun is pale it is a sign of rain but when it is setting and the sky is red round it the next day is going to be good. When the moon is pale and the starts are dancing in the sky it is also a sign of rain and sometimes a storm. When the clouds are dark and them running through the sky it is going to rain. The rainbow is a sure sign of rain when it is to be seen in the sky. The north wind is for cold and the east is much the same. Were always sire of wet and stormy weather from the west wind.
