    safe. There is supposed to be a giants grave in Ballymagan Hill. This Giant was buried there a long time ago. It is said that at this giants head there is a bottle containing some sort of water. Over his grave is a big broad flag 3 ft thick and 12 ft long.

  2. People did not wear boots till they were about sixteen years of age, in former times. Often in the country districts people never wore boots or shoes. At present the children go barefoot in the Summer. Boots are made and repaired by the shoemakers
