  1. About two hundred years ago the main road from Buncrana to Dublin was from Catair O's Castle which is a half-mile out side the town the north . This road led over Fahan Hill past the barracks and joined the present Derry road between Burnfoot and Derry . It was then called the Mail Car road to Dublin . On a clear day this road can be traced on the side of the hill .There is a graveyard supposed to be on that road somewhere about the Moyle.
