  1. Fairy haunts
    The split rock is situated in the Granshaw near Andrew Barr's and it is believed to be haunted by fairies. It is called the split rock because it is split in the middle.
    One day a couple day of boys were out pulling bilberries when they came to the split rock they saw a fairy dancing on the top of it. They started to run and the fairy followed them. When they reached home they had not bilberry left.
