Castle Quarter, Inch Island

Castle Quarter Inch Island - Local Castle.
There is a castle in the district, it was built by the O Doherties. It was built of huge stones and lime which was mixed with goats milk. It was about five hundred and eight years of age. The last person to live in the castle was a woman named Fanny McCloskey who kept a shebeen. There was a forge also and all the people of the district came to it.
